Dr. Mario Fortin graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Université Laval in 1988 as a general dentist and has been the founder and co-owner of Clinique dentaire Fortin Poirier since that same year.
He is a member in good standing of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec. Dr. Fortin served as a board member of the Association des chirurgiens-dentistes du Québec for 21 years and sat on various committees. He is also a founding member of the Société dentaire de Laval, where he served as a director for several years. This organization provides continuing education courses for dentists—courses that Dr. Fortin regularly attends.
